A fire is burning in Adams County, throwing off a plume of black smoke that’s visible from Interstate 25.
The fire is in the 3100 block of East 78th Avenue, according to Adams County Fire Rescue.

A garage and sheds at the site are engulfed in flames, the fire department said.
There were no immediate reports of injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The fire is just north of a recycling plant fire that burned July 10.
